Aurora Borealis Photo Print Gallery

Welcome to my photo gallery showcasing aurora borealis prints & time lapse movies of the Northern Lights in Alaska and California - captured during the most active aurora seasons between 2000 - 2013. The aurora borealis - also well known as the Northern Light - is an amazing visual display of a nature phenomena that is commonly confined to the high latitudes of the northern hemisphere (Alaska, Canada, Scandinavia). Throughout the Fall and Winter seasons, the Northern Lights are best observed and captured under clear and dark skies - far from any city lights and (ideally) during active periods of solar and geomagnetic activity.

Bay ROES is offering one of the most comprehensive selections of quality photo products available anywhere. The following mounting solutions are available for all photos within this gallery:

ThinWraps: A contemporary, frameless new way to mount and display images in style with a print on your choice of Lustre Paper, Metallic Paper or Giclée Canvas material. The print is laminated with a soft Satin Laminate or a Glossy Laminate and mounted on Masonite or Gatorboard. A 1/2" spacer is applied to the back of the ThinWrap, allowing the image to be hung and appear to float from the wall. Mounted and finished prints are available in a wide variety of sizes as large as 20" x 30" (50.8 x 76.2 cm).

MetalPrints: An exciting new art medium for printing photographs by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. This creates an image with a magical luminescence and tremendous archival qualities. Colors are vibrant and the detail and resolution are unsurpassed. The surface is easy to clean, waterproof and scratch resistant. MetalPrints are available in a wide variety of sizes as large as 24" x 36" (61 x 91.4 cm).

Giclée Canvas (wrapped): Archival ink is printed directly on fine art canvas. The canvas is wrapped around a wooden frame with part of the photo visible (or not / optional) on the sides of the frame. Available in a wide variety of sizes as large as 24" x 36" (61 x 91.4 cm).
